Born in the heart of Chicago’s North Shore, The Essay Mentor AI was developed within one of the most competitive academic landscapes in the country. For over 24 years, our founders have worked on the front lines of high-stakes admissions, navigating the rigorous standards and narrative depth required to succeed at the nation’s most elite high schools. In addition to 24 years of experience, our founder is a proud member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC), and served on the IACAC Board in 2020, 2021, and 2022. They have also served as a board member for the Chicago Area Post Secondary Counselors Association, a network of dedicated high school college counselors from across the Chicago area, since 2016.
